Marvin Gable, a successful real estate agent, hides a dark past as a former assassin for "The Company," run by his estranged brother, Alvin "Knuckles." After a failed mission to kill lawyer Rose, who stole from The Company, Marvin chose to let her go and left his criminal life behind. Years later, Marvin receives a letter from Rose, prompting the return of danger. Knife assassin Raven, sent by Knuckles, confronts Marvin, but he escapes, only to be captured by Rose, who is now trying to bring down Knuckles for his criminal activities, including money laundering and cheating partners.
Rose reveals that she has gathered compromising information on Knuckles and wants Marvin's help to take him down. Meanwhile, Marvin’s assistant Ashley falls for Raven after discovering his poetry. A tense confrontation leads to the death of Marvin’s rival, Jeff Zaks, and a fight between Marvin and Knuckles' men. With Raven's help, Marvin takes down Otis and King, two of Knuckles' agents, while Ashley confesses her love for Raven.
Marvin and Rose confront Knuckles at his hideout, fighting through his men and ultimately defeating Knuckles in a final showdown. Rose reveals she contacted Russian gangsters Knuckles had wronged, who take him away. Marvin, embracing his past, declares his love for Rose, signaling a new beginning.
