Former FinCEN director Raymond King asks assassin Anaïs to help find a Salvadorean family using only an old photo. Anaïs warns he’s being followed, and King is killed in a gunfight. His protege, Marybeth Medina, finds “find the accountant” written on his arm and takes on the case.
Despite her mistrust, Medina asks Christian Wolff for help. Wolff traces the family’s path from El Salvador to L.A. Meanwhile, assassin Cobb is ordered by his boss Burke to keep pursuing Anaïs. Christian recruits his estranged brother Braxton, and Justine, working with autistic children, helps hack into systems. They find a photo of Anaïs but can’t identify her. Medina, disturbed by their methods, investigates a hospital from King’s reports and discovers Anaïs is the mother from the photo. After a traumatic accident, she lost her memory and became a skilled fighter.
Batu, a contractor, sets a hit on Medina, but Braxton refuses to carry it out. Anaïs wounds Medina before Wolff intervenes. Braxton and Christian learn Anaïs’s autistic son, Alberto, is held in a Juarez prison camp. They rescue him and other trafficked children, killing Cobb and his men. Anaïs regains memories and kills Burke. Justine prepares to welcome Alberto, while Christian and Braxton plan a camping trip.
