After a hacker known as the Ghost escapes a Bangkok raid, a secretive government agency tracks her flight to San Francisco. With no available field agents, agency head Katherine Brunt recruits her ex-partner and disgraced former agent Lucas Reyes, offering to clear his name. Lucas boards the plane, tasked with identifying the Ghost by a bullet wound. He kills assassin Cayenne and enlists flight attendants Isha and Royce for help.
As more assassins join the hunt—hired by corporations wanting Ghost’s powerful supercomputer—Lucas discovers that Isha is the Ghost. She reluctantly teams up with him, revealing she hacks to dismantle child labor networks. Agent Hunter’s betrayal is exposed, as he sought the supercomputer for power. Brunt supports his plan until he fails, killing him.
With help from Master Lian and her students, Lucas and Isha battle through attackers, causing a hull breach. The plane crashes short of its destination; both pilots and Lian are killed. Lucas refuses Brunt’s demand to surrender Isha. She reveals the computer piloted the plane and was her real escape plan.
Lucas wakes in a war-torn hospital, where Isha urges him onward, hinting their mission is far from over.
